Language training
We provide foreign language training to adults and youth, as well as to corporations and institutions, organised as customer-tailored (internal) courses, as requested by our clients, for groups of 2 to 3, 4 to 6 or more participants, or for individual participants. Depending on your specific needs, we select teachers for your course with the corresponding qualifications and experience.
We offer 45- or 60-minute classes in blocks of 1, 2, or 3 for adults (aged over 16), and youth (13-16) at all levels of language proficiency (from A1 to C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference), based on different approaches, depending on the specific needs:
- focus-on-form - focus on specific linguistic aspects (e.g. vocabulary, collocations, grammar), rather than theme of the class, in relation to problems inherent in the acquisition or application of skills acquired. Practicing speaking, pronunciation, grammar, listening, reading and writing, initiating work in pairs/groups, encouraging participants to self-practise at home;
- communicative - learning how to obtain and provide information, focus on the skill of effective and efficient communication in a foreign language in a manner tuned to a given situation. A certain level of grammatical correctness is necessary to communicate, but full grammatical correctness is not of primary importance;
- task-based - methodology based on a set of exercises reflecting authentic situations found in real life, such as going to the doctor, being interviewed for a job, or calling a repair company. Full linguistic correctness is not required, the focus is on fluency and self-confidence of the participant. Focus on developing practical skills of using a foreign language to communicate freely in a variety of everyday private and professional situations by using contemporary teaching methods.
We conduct training classes at convenient locations in regional capitals, but also in smaller towns further off metropolitan areas, at the customer's offices, or classrooms we book on dates convenient for our customers.
We teach a broad range of foreign languages (Polish, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and other) and the training profiles are:
- general (objective of the training is to master a foreign language to the extent that allows the user to use it freely, considering all general competencies related to comprehension, action, communication and cooperation);
- specialist (e.g. business - objective of the training is to master a foreign language to the extent that allows the user to communicate freely in his/her business environment, considering all language competencies, such as speaking, writing, reading and listening comprehension);
- exam-oriented (objective of the training is to prepare participants to pass an important certification test, such as, e.g. FCE, CEA, CPE, TOEIC, WiDaF, etc. The training programme takes into account the type of exam, scope of skills required, types of tasks and studying techniques);
- speaking-oriented (targeted at those who wish to focus on the skill of conducting conversations and using the language in a fluent and unrestrained manner).
Before the training, participants are invited to sit an assessment test based on which we evaluate their language skills in terms of grammar and vocabulary. Results of the tests allow us to determine their competence level and assign them to the group that best matches their skills and is most conducive to the development of their linguistic expertise.
On request, we can arrange example classes and furnish course completion certificates.
Training participants receive a free learner's pack. Depending on the needs, the learner's pack may consist of: textbook, exercises, audio and video materials as well as other individually selected materials (also prepared on request) matching the requirements of the customer and those contained in curricula.
We also offer a series of progress reports and assistance of the training coordinator.
The training is usually organised within four weeks.
Depending on the customer's preferences, payment can be made:
- upfront, for the entire training
- in 2 instalments (start and mid-date of the contract's term),
- in monthly instalments (equal, from start to end of contract's term).
To meet your requirements, we allow for an option of cancelling a class once or twice in a row, and then have it within a month or two of the course's end.
We offer a discount of 5% to individual customers who are holders of IDEA CLUB, euro<26, Planeta Młodych and ING loyalty cards (discounts are not cumulative).
In order to match up our offer to your needs, we offer Comfort or Prestige language training courses.
