Interpreting was contracted under the agreement for translation and interpreting services for the Municipality of Wrocław (14 February 2008 – 30 March 2009).

 

Date of interpreting: 23-24 March 2009

 

Interpreters had to be able to use specialist vocabulary characteristic of urban infrastructure and spatial planning in the following combinations:

 

- English-French

- Polish-English

- Polish -French

 

Key tasks the project delivery entailed:

 

1. To ensure relevant human resources and their management by:

a)   Selecting four interpreters for different language combinations to service the seminar;

b)      Selecting simultaneous interpreters for “foreign-foreign” language combination fluent in applying specialist terminology;

c)       Ensuring the coordination between the Municipality of Wrocław and interpreters in terms of organisational issues and submitting seminar materials.

2.   To provide equipment for simultaneous interpreting (including portable sets).

 

 

To deliver the project, of vital importance was ensuring the superb quality of coordination service due to its prestige and complex organisational issues.
